The defending American League West Champion Los Angeles Angels have made very few changes to their roster but the one move they did make was a major one. The Halo’s signed the 2009 World Series MVP Hideki Matsui to a one year deal worth an estimated $6 million. The move puts the Angels in a rare position, being listed in the top 10 of teams predicted to win the 2010 World Series. The team has also picked up Infielder Erick Aybar who recently signed a one-year deal.
There were some losses to the roster to include: 3B Chone Figgins, DH Vladimir Guerrero and LHP Darren Oliver.
The Angels franchise will host the 2010 All Star Game.
